1. Summary
calculativa.com does not use advertising, profiling, tracking or third-party analytics cookies. We do not build visitor profiles, we do not share browsing data with advertising networks, and we do not embed third-party trackers.
Because we set no cookies that require consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive, this website does not display a cookie consent banner. That is a deliberate design decision, not an omission.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Under EU law, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested may be used without consent. Any other category — analytics, personalisation, advertising — requires your prior, informed, freely given consent.
3. What this website uses
3.1 Strictly necessary
The website is served as static pages and does not require a session cookie to browse. Where the underlying framework sets a strictly necessary cookie to deliver a page correctly, it is used solely for that purpose, contains no identifier that we use to track you across sites, and is not read for any analytical purpose.
3.2 Local browser storage
We do not write to localStorage or sessionStorage for tracking purposes.
3.3 Fonts and assets
Typefaces used on this website are self-hosted and served from our own infrastructure. No request is made to a third-party font or CDN provider when you load a page, so no third party receives your IP address as a result of visiting us.
4. Server logs
Our web server records standard technical information for each request — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, user agent and referrer. These logs are not cookies. They are used for security monitoring, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, are retained for up to 90 days, and are then deleted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining the security and availability of our systems.
5. Contact form
When you submit the contact form, we temporarily hold your IP address in server memory in order to rate-limit automated abuse. This record is not a cookie, is not written to disk, and expires automatically within 15 minutes.
6. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Because this website does not depend on non-essential cookies, blocking them will not affect how it works. Guidance for each major browser is published by its vendor in the browser’s help documentation.
7. Changes
If we introduce any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and implement a compliant consent mechanism before that cookie is set. The “last updated” date above records the most recent revision.
